Service Standards & Appointment Policy

If you have attended in the last two years and are not in breach of our appointment policy we will aim to offer you:

- An examination appointment within 2 months (currently not in operation due to Covid operational changes)

​- An urgent appointment by the end of the next working day

- A denture repair within 3 days where possible
  (dependent upon our contracted laboratories being open. When closed this time may be extended to 8 days)

​- A treatment appointment within 8 weeks

It is and has always been the patients responsibility to arrange appointments whether for examinations or treatments

All patients are welcome to join our cancellation list where we can contact you if space becomes available earlier. We may prioritise patients from this list according to dental need.

Waiting times for dentists may vary therefore you may be offered an appointment with an alternative dentist to meet these target times.

Out of hours dental care is provided by NHS 111 – please contact NHS 111 out of practice hours

Appointment Policy

NHS dental time especially is precious and we want to protect it.

We receive many requests each day from people wanting an NHS dental surgeon

If you fail to attend your appointment or cancel less than 24 hours;

  • we will automatically cancel any further appointments you have may

  • we may no longer be able to see you and may ask you to find dental care elsewhere
